The app cannot be installed on the display

There are several reasons why you might be unable to install the GoBright app on a display. The most common issues are outlined below.

No stable internet connection

A stable internet connection is required to download and install the GoBright app and ensure that the display functions correctly. An Ethernet connection is recommended, but Wi-Fi can also be used.

A WebViewer app is being used

Some displays include a WebViewer app that allows you to view web pages but does not support downloading files or content. This type of browser cannot be used to download and install the GoBright app.

For example, on devices running Android 8.x, the WebViewer app may have limited functionality, while the standard browser is called Lightning. Make sure you use a browser that supports downloading files.

No Android operating system

The GoBright app can only be installed on devices running the Android operating system. If your display uses a different operating system, the app cannot be installed directly.

The device is not certified

If you use a device that is not officially certified for GoBright, we cannot guarantee that the app will install or function correctly.
