In this article we are considering the backup calibration function for the Interact when the touch screen doesn't react as expected after the first boot.
The older Interacts require a touchscreen calibration. For Interact devices running version 1.8.4 or higher, the recalibration will automatically trigger the first time they boot up.
If a user touches the display during this process of recalibration, the display can become unusable.
As a recovery mechanism, if you place a file called “ExecuteTouchRecovery.txt
" (case insensitive) inside the ‘interact’ folder on a USB drive (so next to the logs and OTA folders) it will re-trigger the calibration on boot.
