There are a few ways to troubleshoot the Gateway when it doesn't seem to function properly.
The Gateway requires power ether via the standard power cord or it can be connected using a Power over Ethernet (POE) cable. Both ways are fine as long as it's powered constantly.
To communicate with the GoBright platform an ethernet cable is required. As discussed above it can be a POE cable to act as a power source as well. WiFi is not available on the Gateway.
Check the power and internet connection by checking the color and icon combination of the Gateway.
The Gateway has 4 LED's which show the state of the gateway.
|Power||Wi-Fi||Exclamation Mark||Green Dot|
When the combination of lights are displayed, the Gateway has the following status:
|OK (Activated And Connected)|
|Not Activated At Platform|
|Requesting New Refresh Token At Platform|
|Not Connected to the platform|
|Firmware Download And Upgrade In Progress|
|Blink Fast||Blink Fast||Blink Fast||Blink Fast||Status|
|NTP Server has not been set up or synchronized correctly|
