Theme and layout settings
The Room Display offers three layout options: Black, Fancy, and Circle, allowing you to choose the appearance that best suits your environment.
Each layout includes several customization options, such as showing or hiding the booking subject, the booking organizer, and the Book button.
Custom background
The Fancy and Circle layouts support a custom background image.
For the best results, use an image that:
have a maximum resolution of Full-HD (1920x1080px)
are grayscale, otherwise the status color (green/orange/red) might be shown differently
Android 9 and lower maximum image size of 1.2 MB.
for Android 10 and higher larger images are possible.
Other settings
You can configure which booking details are displayed on the Room Display by selecting or clearing the available options.
When Show book button is enabled, users can create bookings directly from the Room Display.
Default layout
By deselecting the Default layout option, you can customize various settings related to the Room Display layout.
Please note: These settings are highly specific and should be adjusted with care. For example, setting the font size to a very large value may cause some text to no longer fit on the display.
After changing these settings, we recommend testing the Room Display with different types of bookings to make sure everything is displayed correctly.
Screen on/off settings
The Screen on/off settings determine when the Room Display should automatically turn the screen on and off. This allows the display to turn off automatically when the building is closed. This setting is available on certified hardware.
When Screen on/off times based on opening hours room is enabled, the Room Display uses the room's configured opening hours to determine when the screen should turn on and off.
If you disable this option, you can define custom screen on/off times instead.
NFC mode
You can choose between two NFC modes: Standard NFC and Standard NFC + HID / Keyboard.
Standard NFC: The device only recognizes and processes standard NFC card communication.
Standard NFC + HID / Keyboard: In addition to standard NFC cards, the device also supports HID cards that behave like keyboard input devices. This allows users to authenticate using both NFC and HID cards.
The ability to use NFC and HID features depends on the hardware specifications of the display.
