Policy notice pop-up

When a user logs in to the GoBright portal for the first time, you can require them to review and provide consent to the company’s policy and applicable terms. This ensures that all users are informed about, for example how their personal data is collected, processed, and protected in accordance with organizational and legal requirements.

This consent flow can be centrally enabled in the portal settings and enforced automatically. Once activated, it will be presented to all existing users upon their next login, as well as to all new users during their initial login experience. Users will not be able to proceed without acknowledging and accepting the policy, ensuring consistent compliance across the entire user base.

Enable the Policy notice

To enable the policy notice pop-up, navigate to Settings > General > Policy notice and activate the Policy notice pop-up. Once activated, the pop-up will be displayed to users as configured.

In this section, you can customize the content shown to users by defining a title and message text. Additionally, you can adjust the appearance by modifying the styling options and settings.

Users and Policy notice

Once enabled, all existing users will see this pop-up the next time they log in to the GoBright portal, the GoBright mobile app, or the GoBright Outlook add-in. New users will also be shown the pop-up during their first login, regardless of which platform they use.

When users see this pop-up, they will be asked to set their default visibility preference and confirm their acceptance of the policy before they can continue using the system.

Visibility preference: Users can set their availability status to 'Visible for everyone', 'Visible within the team/department' or 'Not visible' to manage how colleagues see their presence.

Visible for everyone: Every user can see their name on bookings.

Visible within the team/department: Only users within their team or department can see their name on bookings. For other users the name of the organiser would be hidden.

Not Visible: Their colleagues will not be able to see their bookings, and the organizer would be hidden.

Further in this article, you can see examples of the visual representation of this pop-up in different views.
