Interact - Internal sensor

The GoBright Interact is a multifunctional, interactive hardware device developed by GoBright, designed for desk booking. It enables users to create detailed bookings and easily view existing ones.

To accurately measure occupancy, you can now utilize the internal sensor integrated into the Interact device. This sensor provides accurate data on space usage, allowing you to track the availability of desks with real-time precision. By detecting user presence, the sensor helps ensure that resources are being used efficiently.

This setting should be set up in the commissioning preset section of the interact devices and it would work only if the option Single free standing is selected in Desk Type setting.

The reason behind this is because the sensor in the Interact is a vibration sensor, therefore if a desk is not free standing, the sensor will also detect vibration from the other connected desks.

For already commissioned Interact devices, you can enable this feature through the GoBright portal in the Interact section. Select the "Detect Occupancy (Beta)" option and save your changes.

Once the internal sensor feature is enabled, you can configure the internal sensor settings directly within the profile of the specific desk. These settings are identical to those used for the occupancy sensors. The internal sensor of the Interact will automatically apply these settings from the desk profile.

Check the article Configure desk profile for more information on these settings.

Ensure that the firmware version 1.9.5 or newer is installed to enable occupancy measurements with the internal sensor in the GoBright Interact.

You can also use the option to bulk update the Firmware of the installed Interact devices in the GoBright portal:
