The Premium Template Store is a valuable addition to our template library, offering a collection of modern, professionally designed templates that help users create engaging and visually appealing content more efficiently. In addition to providing access to high-quality designs, the new store delivers a more intuitive browsing experience, making it easier to find, manage, and organize templates. With improved categorization, simplified navigation, and a centralized location for both predefined and custom templates, users can quickly locate the right template for their needs, save time, and streamline their workflow.
Templates are grouped into tabs with predefined layouts and store templates available in the template library. You can access the Premium Templates from:
- Content → Browse all → Add Template → Premium templates
- Scheduling → Playlist → Slides →Add → Premium templates
Note: The Premium Templates tab is only visible if your organization has at least one Premium Device license.
In the following sections of this article, we will explain how to work with Premium Templates, how to activate Premium Template licenses for your devices, and how to grant users the necessary permissions to create, manage, and use Premium Templates within the platform.
Working with Premium templates
Adding a Premium template
- Navigate to Select template browser.
- Select 'Premium template' from the available tabs.
- Select 'Use' to add the template to slide.
After selecting 'Use' of the template:
- A preview appears on the left side
- The Premium template Editor opens on the right side
Premium Template Editor
The available settings and sections in Premium template editor may vary depending on the selected Premium Template. Each template includes its own set of customization options, allowing you to tailor the content, layout, and visual appearance to meet your specific requirements.
Premium Templates function as widgets within the platform. Let’s take a look at some common settings. However, keep in mind that settings are template-specific and may vary from one template to another.
Note: When you edit the content in the editor, the changes are immediately reflected in the live preview on the left side. This preview provides an exact representation of how the template will appear on your screens.
Duration settings
The settings such as Duration and Animation can be adjusted. In the Template editor, click on the timing to open this menu.
The Settings menu will pop-up.
- 'Duration' can be set to a fixed time for slides containing images, where the display time is known in advance. For slides containing videos or RSS widgets for example, where the duration may vary or cannot be determined beforehand, it is recommended to use the 'Controlled by widget' option. This allows the widget itself to control how long the slide remains visible, ensuring that videos can play in full or RSS content can be displayed appropriately.
- Use the 'Animation' options to define how slides transition from one to another.
The 'Language' option allows you to change the language of the static text displayed in the template. This doesn't affect the text fields that can be edited in the Premium template editor. In the 'Content' section of this article, you can find detailed instructions on how to modify the text displayed on the Premium template, if this option is available for the selected template.
'Corporate identity' will be explained in the 'Branding' section further in this article.
Global settings
In 'Global Settings', you can select the location from which information will be retrieved and displayed. For example, this setting determines which location's upcoming events, birthdays, and anniversaries are shown.
Additional settings that can be configured include the number of days to look ahead, as well as the speed of the slider and footer.
In 'Global settings' you can also change Background color by selecting the color picker.
Note: Different sections and settings may be available depending on the selected Premium Template. These options are template-specific and allow you to further customize the content, layout, and appearance to suit your needs.

Modules
Modules are data sources used by Premium Templates.
Currently:
- Only a limited number of Premium template modules are fully implemented
- Other modules are displayed similarly to how they appear in the VIEW portal
Manage Modules
If you want to display dynamic data in Premium Templates, dedicated modules are available to support it. These modules automatically retrieve and display up-to-date information, reducing the need for manual content updates.
Several dynamic data modules are available depending on the selected template. Different modules are available to show information such as meeting room bookings, events, announcements, employee data, or other organization-specific content. This allows templates to remain relevant and up to date with minimal effort.
Modules can be managed from:
- Management → Premium Template modules
Select the module you want to use to display data on your slide, then either enter the information manually or link the module to a relevant data source.
Select, for example, the 'Birthdays and anniversaries' module which can automatically display employee birthdays and anniversaries. Add employees manually or import with CSV file the data about their birthdays and anniversaries.
Add a Premium Template that supports the Birthday module to your slides to display employee birthdays on your screens. The template will automatically present the birthday information in a visually engaging format, helping you keep employees informed and celebrate special occasions across your organization.
Device Activation and user permissions
Devices activation
The Premium templates must be enabled by device to display the Premium Template slides.
Premium templates are based on a license module per device. The number of available and used Premium Template licenses can be viewed in the Admin Center → Licenses.
This can be managed from Devices. Here you can select the right device and enable the Premium templates.
You can also use the 'Bulk Update' option to enable Premium Templates on multiple devices at once. To do this, click 'Bulk Update', select the devices you want to update, and choose 'Update Premium templates license' as the update type. Then select 'Enable' to activate the Premium Template licenses on all selected devices in a single operation.
If you have fewer Premium Template licenses available than the number of devices you are updating, only the devices covered by the available licenses can be enabled as Premium. Once the license limit is reached, any additional devices cannot be marked as Premium until more licenses are made available or existing licenses are reassigned.
The number of available and used Premium Template licenses can be viewed in the Admin Center → Licenses.
Important: If content containing Premium Templates is scheduled on devices that do not have a Premium Template license, the Premium Template slides will be skipped during playback. Any non-premium slides in the same content will continue to display as normal, but the unlicensed Premium Template slides will not be shown on the screen.
If a display without a Premium Template license is scheduled to play content that contains only Premium Template slides, the content cannot be displayed. In this case, the following message will appear on the screen:
Permissions in User role
In the user role you can give different permissions to your users to manage the Premium templates.
