This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the GoBright app on Crestron supported device. Please follow the steps below to complete the installation.
Method: Using the local IP-address of the Room panel
Important note: Firmware version 3.x higher is required for installing the GoBright app and its needs are in the same network as the device. Otherwise, it isn’t possible to install the GoBright app.
1. Type in the IP address of the Room panel in a browser on a PC in the same network.
2. Sign in or create a username and password.
3. Go to the Setting tab in the top and open the 'System Setup' drop down menu.
4. Select the correct time zone and time format.
5. Scroll down and open 'Applications' dropdown menu. Select 'Application Mode'.
6. Scroll up and press 'Save changes'.
7. Select 'Yes, Reboot Now' in the pop-up window.
8. The Crestron display is now loaded with the new settings that include the GoBright App.
Note: This process will take about 3 to 4 minutes with a normal network connection.
Note: the two Change buttons don't have any usage on the Crestron devices. These settings are already done in step 3 in this manual.
10. After selecting the ‘Confirm and reboot’ button, the device will start up with the GoBright app. The Activation code will be displayed, and it can be used to activate the device in your GoBright portal.
